How to use Deja News to search for a discussion group

Reason
The DejaNews Research Service is an archive of messages posted to Usenet discussion groups. It is available to general public, provides a simple World Wide Web user interface and allows searches across all archived newsgroups.

The solution to the problem

Follow the instructions to use Deja News to search for a discussion group:

    In the ‘Location’ drop-down list box, type “http://www.dejanews.com” and press ‘Enter’. (The ‘Deja News’ Web page appears.)

    (Optional) To search for a newsgroup, select the ‘Find Newsgroups’ radio button.

    1. NOTE: By default, Deja News searches for news articles in newsgroups.

    In the ‘Quick Search for’ box, type the news item to search for and click ‘Find’. (A Web page appears displaying the search results.)
