How to map Linux local drives in Citrix® Access Suite

Citrix Access Suite enables you to change your client name, keyboard settings, dial-up options, software update settings and authentication option. You can also map Linux local drives in Citrix Access Suite. Mapped drives enable you to quickly navigate to the entire network.

The solution to the problem

Follow the instructions to map Linux local drives in Citrix Access Suite:

    Open your ICA client.

    From the ‘Tools’ menu, select ‘Settings’.

    Click ‘Preferences’, select ‘Drive Mapping’.

    Enter the network path in the ‘F’ box.

    Click the ‘Enable’ button to grant ‘Read’ and ‘Write’ permissions.

    Click ‘Apply’.

    Click ‘OK’.


You can create a virtual drive to save and open files in a shared folder as a part of the workgroup on a server. The virtual drive letter appears with your local drives.
