How to fix the issue when bitmap is not printed with CorelDRAW® 7.0

Reason
The issue occurs when the default printing options are being used and are insufficient to print the specific bitmap.

The solution to the problem

Follow the instructions to print bitmap with CorelDRAW 7.0:

  1. 1

    Use bitmap printing to print the image:

    1. Select the ‘File’ menu and select ‘Print…’. (The ‘Print’ dialog box appears.)
    2. Click ‘Options…’. (The ‘Print Options’ dialog box appears.)
    3. Select the ‘Options’ tab.
    4. From the ‘Special settings’ group:(i) From the ‘Options’ drop-down list box, select ‘Bitmap Printing’.(ii) From the ‘Setting’ drop-down list box, select ‘Output in 64K Chunks’.
    5. Click ‘OK’. (The ‘Print’ dialog box reappears.)
    6. Reprint the image.
    Or Follow the instructions to use driver banding to print the image:

      Select the ‘File’ menu and select ‘Print…’. (The ‘Print’ dialog box appears.)

    Click ‘Options…’. (The ‘Print Options’ dialog box appears.)

  3. 1

    Select the ‘Options’ tab.

  4. 1

    From the ‘Special settings’ group:

    1. From the ‘Options’ drop-down list box, select ‘Driver Banding’.
    2. From the ‘Setting’ drop-down list box, select ‘Send Bands to Driver’.
  5. 1

    Click ‘OK’. (The ‘Print’ dialog box reappears.)

  6. 1

    Reprint the image.

Essentially, non-PostScript printer drivers convert the entire contents of your document into a bitmapped image based on your drawing size and the material size onto which you are printing. If you are unsure of your printer’s compatibility, check either with your manufacturer or the documentation included with your printer.
