How to correct the error message: “Your computer might be at risk. Antivirus software might not be installed. Click this balloon to fix the problem”
On a computer running Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Security Center does not detect the presence of antivirus software on the computer. It is recommended that you use antivirus software in conjunction with Windows XP SP2 to fix this error.
The solution to the problem
Follow the instructions to rectify the error:“Your computer might be at risk. Antivirus software might not be installed. Click this balloon to fix the problem”:
Click the red shield icon that is displaying the alert (this is not actual error message, but an alert message).
Windows Security Center will start.
Click 'Recommendations' to see how to fix the problem.
