Follow the instructions to center align text on a page in Word 2000:
On the ‘File’ menu, click ‘Page Setup’. The ‘Page Setup’ dialog box appears.
Click the ‘Layout’ tab.
In the ‘Vertical alignment’ list, select ‘Center’.
Select one of the following from the ‘Apply to’ list:
- To apply the changes to the whole document, select ‘Whole document’.
- To apply the changes from this point forward, select ‘This point forward’.
Click ‘OK’ to apply the changes and close the ‘Page Setup’ dialog box.
